Tim Nave (TAKAT or The Artist Known As Tim)

Tim Nave is an experimental folk artist from Carter County, Tennessee. He goes by TAKAT, or The Artist Known As Tim.  Bitter As Hell is a series of short albums that are inspired by his life and the area of Appalachia where he was raised.  The albums use storytelling, acoustic instruments, and a variety of folk genres to bring the tales to life.  The album is a reminder that the stories you don't tell will make you bitter and that it's better to find joy in spite of life.  

Tim is often accompanied by great musicians like: Drew Shingleton, Grant Taylor, Zach Vickers, John Gabel, Mike Stephenson and Julia Wilson.
